New Pictures of #121 UMOTO White Micargi Two-Stroke Motorized Bicycle
Here are some new pictures of the #121 white Micargi Touch 2-stroke beach cruiser. Although this build was made about 7 bikes ago, I wasn't satisfied with its previous pictures. The lighting and background had much to be desired. This weekend, the clouds have finally cleared and the sun has been out. It has been rainy/cloudy/overcast for over a week. Now I was able to take some better ones today.

#128 two-stroke build: Schwinn 7-Speed Point Beach Cruiser
Here #128 and the the most current U-MOTO build. It is a new Schwinn Point Beach Cruiser fitted with a new 48cc two-stroke motor. This is a lightweight bike with an aluminum frame. It comes with a 7-speed Shimano gearing system (for normal biking only.) I usually have the gearing system set up with a lower gear just because during start-up the bike needs to have sufficient speed to support motor compression when releasing the clutch.
The bicycle itself has study fenders. Despite the quality of the fender material, I reinforced the connection tabs with added bolts just to make certain that the fenders do no not pop off. With enough vibration the riveted fasteners can fail. If they do the fenders can either get caught up in the wheels and tangle up. Essentially the rider can do a face plant. Safety first.
One of the issues that I had earlier was looking for bicycles that had a strong enough rim to withstand the torque generated from 66cc two-stroke motors. This particular bike has alloy rims. One of the first bikes I sold was an older model Point Beach Cruiser with alloy rims and a 66cc motor to a UA student. After a while the rim deformed and needed to be retrued Now that I only build with 48cc motors I find that alloy rims can withstand the force of the motor. 48cc is the only displacement motor size that can be considered street legal to ride without license nor registration in the state of Arizona.
